We wanted to show our film opening similar to the film St Tinian's. Because, that chick-flick, comedy, has the same target audience’s as what we were going to apply ourselves for. similar because of the stereotypes, just like St Tinian's, and its different, because its just the four of us. and its not into separate social groups, but just stereotypes. The shot types we have chosen to do, are often designed in order for the audience to follow the film through the eyes of the main characters. Typical chick flick shot types includes two shots to show personal relationships between characters, Close up to get the detail and the emotion on there faces, And tilts, common when you have an attractive character on there, so the audience can be the eyes of the camera. And it also has a wide shot of the whole group, in this case, the four of us. this allows the viewer to see all of the characters, for there convection's and mise en scene. We aimed to uses as many of these shot types as possible in order to make the genre of our film opening clear.
With most Chick-flick, the age range is 12A, just for the fact that it is opened to a more widened audiences, films like, St Trinians, Wild Child and John tucker must die.
