We, as a group, chose to do different types of stereotypes, which is clear from the beginning, where we have used our mise en scene, and has took four different types of teenagers, and became it. Our make-up and costume suits with our stereotype, and our different social groups. we have the Goth, which is dressed in black, with heavy make-up. The nerd, which is dressed in tucked in clothes, glasses and books. The Chav, which is dressed in loose clothes, hair up to the side and is shown to be a rebel, by taking some guys hat, and runs away with it. And the Posh Totty, dressed nicely, short everything, with the flirty quality.
I think that having the right costume, make-up and props are a necessary towards describing what social groups they are in. By this, we can then locate what type of social group, or stereotype they are under.
Through-out the film, it is shown how the mise en scene, points out what type of group they both fit in, but it is both realized at the end that they are friends.
